First we stopped at Kirkwood to rent skis for Pasha. Then moved to Hope Valley. There are two parking areas at Hope Valley. One wildly used by snowmobilers, requres sno-park permit. Another we for about 10 cars is at (XC-HV-P). We made a 5 mi loop at first along the river, then along the road and back along the highway. Points (XC-HV-1) and (XC-HV-2) are added to specify direction of the loop.
After skiing we went to the Grover Hot Springs State Park (GROVER-HS). Admission $5. About 20 miles drive from the parking at Hope Valley
